Reframing the debate:
A poor Arab and a poor Jew have more in common than a rich Jew and a poor Jew or a rich Arab and a poor Arab.
The forces and social systems that most immediately oppress people are usually Economic in nature, and cross religious and ethnological lines.
Therefore, most of the ethnological debate on this board is woefully mis-inspired and can be understood as but one more example of how the debate has been framed for us by the media, which is the tool of the economic Elite, and which has reached a point of actual brainwashing with the ubiquity of Television. Distraction leads to inaction.
