Generous Poets Wanted

I am a student who islooking for talented poets to perform for an open mic night fundraiser in the Bronx on April 14th or 21st. Proceeds go to a group of college students raising money to go to South Africa to work with children with AIDS and HIV.
The goal of the trip is to gain a greater knowledge of the world around us. We will be educating ourselves about the negative effects of apartheid on both whites and blacks in the country. Our three week trip will NOT consist of a nice stay at the Hilton and three hot meals a day. Most of the money we earn will be used as donations to the various organizations we will be volunteering with. The point is to recognize that we in America are a very priveledged nation of people. We all need to understand that others suffer from want while we have abundance. Basically, it is for a very good cause!!!!
