A research study for men with PROSTATITIS (available in:
Manhattan)

This is approximately an 18-week study whose purpose is to evaluate the safety and efficacy of the investigational use of Elmiron (an FDA approved medication) for the treatment of chronic non-bacterial prostatitis.
Inclusion Criteria:
Chronic non-bacterial prostatitis.
Antibiotic treatment within 6 months
Exclusion Criteria:
Urinary tract infection.
Bacterial prostatitis within 3 months.
Chlamydia.
Herpes within past year.
History of bladder, urethral prostate cancer.
History of any prostate surgery.
Neurological disorders affecting the bladder.
Urethral stricture.
Bladder outlet obstruction.
