Wanting to trade apartments (ideally) with someone in London, Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Berlin, Warsaw, (anywhere in) Iceland, but really... just e-mail and make an offer, regardless. I have a musicians pad (meaning the furnishing is nothing fancy), in Brooklyn's (NYC's?) most ideal neighborhood for nightlife and music. It is an 8 minute walk from the G line and a 15 minute walk to the L line (which is one stop away from Downtown Manhattan's Lower East Side). We have a rooftop that our kitchen door opens up onto, and is very beautiful in the summer. Our street is predominately Polish, but like I said, in 5 minutes you're in the heart of Williamsburg's thriving nightlife. Pics availble upon request.
