Crossing the Digital Divide and its Executive Director/Are the Donations O.K.?

By now, you have probably seen the every day or so posting by CDD requesting donations of computers for its "mission of donating computers and offering computer training to minorities and low income groups and individuals in the community." You have also probably seen posting by one or more individual(s) (not me) questioning whether CDD is a legitimate charity and whether Crossing the Digital Divide'ss Executive Director Kathleen Patton is the most upstanding person.
I recommend that you carefully review the facts to determine whether or not to contribute to CDD. If--after you do your necessary research--you determine that CDD legitimate, then you should absolutely support CDD through your donations of goods, services and money.
